Internet and Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi speeds vary from house to house. If you need to work, ask your host what connection the house has before you book, and bring mobile data as a backup. If you're setting up a house of your own, KPCI's wireless service runs off a dish on the roof, so you don't need a phone line or fibre.

Gas

The gas shop at Marlothi Shopping Centre swaps 9 kg, 18 kg and 48 kg Total gas cylinders, and will drop one off at your house with no delivery charge. You'll find it with the rest of the centre on the shops page.

Laundry and cleaning

Ask your host first. Some houses have a washing machine, and some hosts include cleaning or laundry in the rate. If you live here and use a laundry or cleaning service you're happy with, tell us and we'll look into it for this page.

Car trouble

Many of Marloth Park's side roads are gravel, which suits the animals and is a bit harder on tyres. If a tyre gives in, Tyremart in Komatipoort fits tyres and also works on batteries, brakes, shocks and wheel bearings.
